Apple Pay has the backing of major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, and American Express as well as top issuing banks such as Bank of America, Capital One Bank, Chase, Citi, and Wells Fargo. There are over 500 US banks participating right now. This number is sure to grow.

When you make a purchase, Apple Pay will notify you of recent activity on any of the cards set up for Apple Pay. In the Passbook app, select the credit card you want to see transactions for and then tap on the information icon.

Recent activity will be listed under Transactions. If you notice something fishy, there are in-app links to the credit card company's customer support.
